Our academic provision is based on the fundamental principles of equality, belonging, integration and inclusion, providing pupils with a wide range of in and after school activities. There are several laboratories, a library, a sports hall, and state-of-the-art technology. Our school, located in Savona, Liguria, was one of the first schools in the local area to obtain EU accreditation for Erasmus Plus mobility projects and we stand out locally thanks to the different options we are able to offer our students:
- modern languages option with ESABAC (liceo linguistico): an Italo-French bi-cultural, bi-lingual course of studies of excellence, offering the possibility of obtaining a dual diploma at the end of the five year high school;
- modern languages option (liceo linguistico): a course of studies specialising in three foreign languages (English, Spanish and German) over the course of the five years;
- human sciences option (liceo delle scienze umane): a course of studies focussing on theories explaining the phenomena connected to the construction of personal identity as well as human and social relations;
- socio economics option (liceo economico-sociale): a course of studies proposing an interdisciplinary approach, encompassing psychology, sociology, anthropology, research methods, law and economics, as well as two foreign languages.
Our school is also proud to present numerous projects and activities which have steadily grown and become consolidated over the years: international mobility projects, language study holidays, cultural exchange programmes, language certification courses (from A1 to C1 levels), eTwinning projects, CLIL activities, Work Experience programmes (PCTO). Mathematics Olympics, extra courses to strengthen Biology and Chemistry, theatre and music clubs, online school newspaper, counselling services.
